Hirsch, 34, kicked off her Instagram post by revealing several funny comments her husband said, such as, “Are you done?” (To me after contractions) and “My chair really isn’t comfortable.”
The actress, presenter and social media star added that her husband actually told her, “I’m so tired,” while she was in labor.
Ripa, 52, was quick to add some of hers in the comments section of Hirsch’s post.

The mother-of-three also claimed that her husband told her, “I’m going to the batting cages since you’ll be here for a while” prior to one of her deliveries.
Ripa did not clarify which of their three children’s deliveries Consuelos suggested he take a break and hit some baseballs.
The couple, who will celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary this May, are the proud parents of sons Michael, 25, and Joaquin, 19, and daughter Lola, 21.

Some of the other commenters reminisced about getting various foods and drinks, including one woman who was “given jalapeño margaritas by her significant other after giving birth,” adding, “I highly recommend it.”
Then there were the head-scratchers that left many responders pissed off at some of the men in the world.
“For our first child he was filling out the paperwork and when it asked for the father’s full name he said ‘dear what is your father’s full name’ you are the father dear,” she posted.
Right before I started pushing, “It’s okay if you shit, I shit my pants when I was 23,” another soon-to-be new mom wrote, while another quoted her husband, “As I’m in the operating room being driven for a C-section… “so you just give up.”‘
Varying Responses: Some of the other comments ranged between funny, loving and supportive, and downright despicable; Ripa is seen with newborn son Joaquin on her lap, alongside son Michael and daughter Lola
One mother shared how her labor and delivery marked the end of her relationship with her baby’s father.
Only showed up at the hospital after work “because he had to work,” then arrived and told me, “I’m dating someone new because you weren’t there for me.” The worst time of my life that I had a hard time enjoying,” the mother confessed.
Surprised by some of the responses, one woman wrote: “[These] comments are my contraceptives,” while another lady shared, “The answers here are thoroughly depressing.”
