Last week, Hamilton Co. deputies said. that a teenager playing a game called “Nerf wars” was hit in the foot by a bullet fired from a gun owned by Shalonda Mixon’s friend, Lamonte Brewer. On Thursday, Hamilton Co. Brouwer fires the weapon. She said another image shows Shalonda Mixon picking up shell casings. Powers said Joe Mixon committed no crime. On Friday morning, Shalonda Mixon was charged in a hearing that lasted less than a minute. ‘ said a bailiff. “She has been charged with one count of tampering with evidence and one count of obstruction of justice. Have you received a copy of your complaint?” asked the court clerk. “Not guilty,” Allen said. ‘Okay. As for bail?’ said Chief Magistrate Anita Berding. “We agree with the state on a $5,000 bond at 10 percent,” Allen said. at the end of March for a new hearing. The whereabouts of Lamonte Brewer, who faces four felonies in the case, remain unknown.

Last week, Hamilton Co. deputies said. that a teenager playing a game called “Nerf wars” was hit in the foot by a bullet fired from a gun owned by Shalonda Mixon’s boyfriend, Lamonte Brewer.
On Thursday, prosecutor Melissa Powers of Hamilton Co. a security camera image that she says shows Brewer firing the weapon. She said another image shows Shalonda Mixon picking up shell casings.
Powers said Joe Mixon committed no crime.
On Friday morning, Shalonda Mixon was charged in a hearing that lasted less than a minute.
“This is case number B2301142-B, Shalonda Marie Mixon,” a court official said. “She has been charged with one count of tampering with evidence and one count of obstruction of justice. Have you received a copy of your complaint?”
“She has,” said attorney Mike Allen.
“And how do you beg?” asked the court clerk.
“Not guilty,” Allen said.
“Okay. As for security deposit?” said Chief Magistrate Anita Berding.
“We agree with the state on a $5,000 bond at 10 percent,” Allen said.
Berding agreed with that bail amount, and someone posted Shalonda Mixon’s bail just after 4 p.m.
Shalonda Mixon is due back in court at the end of March for a new hearing.
The whereabouts of Lamonte Brewer, who faces four felonies in the case, remain unknown.
